Communities

Joining a NECPAs community (also known as committees) allows you to share your strengths, gain experience and connect with others in the accounting profession through volunteer positions. Whether you’re new to the profession or a leader in the industry, your ideas will help to shape and influence the future of accounting in New England. Communities typically meet anywhere from quarterly to monthly, and most offer CPE to meeting participants.

As we bring our organizations together, several existing state-based committees will continue during the transition. These groups help preserve important member connections, advocacy work and local engagement while we evaluate how communities and committees will evolve across NECPAs. During the transition, some committees are listed with their originating state to help members identify existing groups and connections. These groups will continue while we evaluate how communities and committees evolve across NECPAs. Contact Melissa Nystedt at mnystedt@necpas.org to learn more.
